Monday evening Sessions have now finished for the Summer. We expect to re-start in September.

See What’s On for details of the Season Opener Open Day, September 21st.

We are a snowsports club based at the dry slope on Gosling Sports Park in Welwyn Garden City, Hertfordshire. We offer social skiing, as well as affordable skier development on Monday evenings, aimed at intermediate level skiers and above. Unlock your potential with 3 Counties Snowsports!

Monday Night Skier Development Sessions

Re-starting in October 2024! Skier development nights are tailored to you! Come down, have a ski, and speak with our coaches and instructors who can help you take your skiing to the next level. There is no additional charge for coaching. Skiers who are looking to ski without coaching are also welcome.

We’re looking to build a diverse community of skiers in the 3 Counties area, so as long as you can use a button lift unaided, and control your speed while skiing in linked snow plough turns, we’d love to have you there. Advanced skiers are equally welcome; we have coaches suited to all levels of skiing.

We regret that we have a minimum age of 8 years for participants. Junior members (those between 8 and 18 years of age) must be accompanied by a Parent/Guardian at all times.

If you’re not sure if you meet these standards yet, please get in touch with us, and we’ll work out how we can help you. Beginners should contact Gosling Ski Centre, who offer group and individual ski lessons. See for more information.

Our sessions run from 7.30-8.30pm on Mondays, although make sure you arrive early to kit up on time. We provide skis, boots and helmets at no extra charge, although feel free to bring your own equipment if you have it. A social hour takes place after the sessions.

To attend our sessions, you don’t need to join the club, although members ski at a discounted rate which makes it much more cost effective to do so if you attend regularly. If you are unsure, we offer one free taster session before joining; use the code TRY3CS on booking. Taster members and non-members become temporary club members for the session for insurance reasons.

To Join the Club please click the “Membership” tab above, download and complete a Membership Application form and send it to The Club Secretary. Then pay the appropriate fee. (Details for both of these are on the Membership Application Form)

Ski Instructor training

Are you already a proficient skier and interested in becoming an instructor? Get in touch for information about instructor training via the contact form on our “Contact Us” page.

We’d encourage any budding ski instructors to join the club and attend our Monday night sessions, where we can help develop your skiing, and instructing skills.
